Notes:
At first, this 4-LP on 2-CD set seems like a great bargain, but wait. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. Such is the case with this collection. The main reason for purchasing this was to have "Jungle Jazz" & "African Jazz" on CD from the master tapes--And I have to stress that the packaging says "digitally remastered". It turns out that the term "digitally remastered" was used in the loosest of definitions here. "African Jazz" is in MONO and after a quick audition with headphones, it turns out that all but "Wild Guitars" were taken from LP sources, not from the master tapes. The good news is, that both "African Jazz" & "Jungle Jazz" have been recently reissued on a single CD together and they sound to be from the master tapes and in STEREO!!
